From 1986 to 1997 – assistant to driver, senior train dispatcher, chief engineer, head of the depot locomotive department, deputy to the head, first deputy to the head of Ryazan's division on Moscow railroad.
From 1997 to 1999 – Head of the division of Liski of South-East railroad.
In 1999 – Deputy to the head of North-Caucasian railroad.
From 1999 to 2003 – Head of Moscow-Ryazan's division, Deputy to the head of route for locomotives and coaches facilities, route chief engineer on Moscow railroad.
From 2003 to 2007 – Head of locomotive facilities department – member of the board of Russian Railways.
From 2007 to 2009 – First deputy general director All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport, Acting General Director All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport.
From 2009 to 2011 – Head of Kuibyshev railroad – branch of Russian Railways.
From 2011 to 2014 – Head of technologic coordination center – structural subdivision of Russian Railways.
Since 2014 – Technical Director Transmashholding.
