Started his career in 1979 at GIAT (Military Industry).
Joined Alstom Transport Headquarters in 1984.
1984-1987 – Part of Technical function.
1987-1992 – Head of Engineering in La Rochelle site (1200 people) in charge of Designing & Manufacturing VHST and LRVs.
1992-2000 – Head of Projects & Engineering in Valenciennes site (1100 people) in charge of Designing & Manufacturing Mass Transit Trains ; also Deputy of the Site General Manager.
2000-2002 – Technical Vice President for Rolling Stock.
2002-2006 – R&D and Engineering Vice President, reporting to Technical Senior Vice President, in charge of R&D activities and Engineering Processes standardisation and improvement.
2006-2009 – Vice President Service Engineering.
2009-2012 – Vice President CVCW, Operations, in charge of Product Validation & Certification before series production; Reliability, availability, maintainability and safety studies; Testing, Commissioning & Warranty activities.
2012-2014 – Vice President Quality, Transport.
In February 2014 appointed Chief Technology Officer, member of the Executive Committee of Products & Innovation, in charge of developing technical expertise and new technologies.
