GEISMAR will present its new KGT Tronic universal road-rail loader at the Fifth International Fair of Railway Equipment and Technologies EXPO 1520.
On September 2–5, 2015, the open area next to Pavilion 4 (at the VNIIZhT Experimental Ring in Sherbinka, Moscow) will treat EXPO 1520 visitors to a demonstration of the new multifunctional universal road-rail loader, which is capable of performing a variety of tasks and has a large number replacement units and parts.
Main characteristics:
- Electronic control in real time on a monitor that displays:
- load, steering angle and height limits;
- engine data;
- thrust settings;
- auxiliary data.
Main joystick controls:
- Up to 30 t-m lifting capacity;
- 129.5 kW (175 horse power) air cooled diesel engine;
- Hydrostatic four-wheel drive transmission;
- Four steering wheels;
- Full 360° rotation;
- Safe on- and off-tracking;
- Spacious ergonomic cabin for two people;
- Maximum speed of up to 25 km/h on tracks and up to 27 km/h on road;
- Rail wheel driven by friction of the tyres through the drums without infringing on the dimensions of the rolling stock;
- Adapted to work with different types of attachment;
- A complete range of attachments dedicated to track works available;
- Weight: 21 tonnes.

The Fifth International Rail Fair EXPO 1520 will be held at the VNIIZhT Experimental Ring in Sherbinka, Moscow, on 2-5 September 2015.
