News from EXPO 1520 Railway Fair participants
CHETRA-Industrial Machines will showcase new and upgraded CHETRA railway infrastructure construction and maintenance equipment at the EXPO 1520 Fifth Anniversary International Fair of Railway Equipment and Technologies.
CHETRA-IM has prepared an exciting show, which will be performed daily as part of the fair’s dynamic exposition. For instance, CHETRA MKSM mini-loaders will perform Dance of the Cygnets, a famous number that won acclaim from the audience of Channel One’s Minute of Fame TV show; the CHETRA Т6 bulldozer, smallest in its class, will demonstrate the accuracy of its operation by performing unique acrobatics, and the CHETRA EPK excavator and loader, new this year, will challenge all comers to shooting some hoops under the ‘Slam Dunk the Imports!’ slogan.
CHETRA representatives will be on hand to talk in detail not only about the machinery on display but also about the Russian manufacturer’s entire range, from heavy-duty bulldozers to excavators to ATVs.
“We would like to thank our partner Russian Railways for inviting us to take part in the EXPO 1520 Fair – the only railway equipment and technology exhibition in the “wide gauge” area”, said CHETRA-IM Executive Director Irina Mashenkina. “The modern Russian-made CHETRA special equipment is ready to star in the dynamic show at this unique Fair.”

The Fifth International Rail Fair EXPO 1520 will be held at the VNIIZhT Experimental Ring in Sherbinka, Moscow, on 2-5 September 2015. It will be a venue for presenting advanced railway equipment and technologies manufactured by Russian and overseas railway engineering companies. National railway authorities in various CIS, European and Central Asian countries, operators and leasing companies, freight owners and carriers are the key customers of these products. Owing to the high standard of the Fair’s organisation, its unique character and scale in the 1520-gauge area, as well as active involvement of international companies, numerous high-ranking government officials, heads of railway ministries and CEOs of major European corporations visit the event as distinguished guests and delegates. In September 2013, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) acknowledged the international status and superior organisation of EXPO 1520.
