The 4th International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520 will be held on 11–14 September 2013 at the Experimental Ring of JSC Russian Railway Research Institute (VNIIZhT) in Shcherbinka (Moscow)
EXPO 1520 is a specialised international Salon featuring the latest developments in railway equipment, technology, infrastructure, services and logistics. It is the only international rolling stock exhibition in the 1520 space.
The purpose of the event is to showcase state-of-the-art rolling stock machinery and equipment produced by Russian and foreign engineering companies to the heads of the national railway authoriteies of the CIS, Europe and Central Asia as well as to railway operators and leasing companies, freight owners and carriers.
The 4th International “Rolling Stock Engineering. Prospects, Technology, Priorities” conference will be held, as per tradition, as part of the Salon. The conference is dedicated to the most important topics in rolling stock engineering, railway fleet renewal, and innovation and investment programmes, as well as showcasing state-of-the-art technologies in the rolling stock industry.
There will also be the Dynamic Exposition parade of railway equipment. The 3000-plus visitors will be able to see more than 20 full-scale models of rail stock equipment in action.
The highest standards of organisation, the active participation of international companies, and the event’s dimension and a unique position in the 1520 space all ensure that the Salon will be attended by senior level government officials, heads of relevant ministries and executives of leading European companies as honorary guests and delegates.
