Free commuter trains to run during EXPO 1520
From 11 to 14 September guests will be able to take free commuter trains to the venue of the IV International Rail Salon EXPO 1520 from Kursky Railway Station
As part of the Salon, free transportation will be offered to and from Shcherbinka station from 11 to 14 September. The train schedule is:
Moscow Kurskaya Passenger station – Shcherbinka station: 8:07; 9:55.
Shcherbinka station – Moscow Kurskaya Passenger station: 17:53; 18:15
The arrival and departure time is Moscow time (GMT+4) and the train will run directly between the two destinations with no stops.
The eventful EXPO 1520 programme offers guests a daily demonstration of the Stationary Exhibition with full-scale models of railway equipment.
During the Exhibition on Rails, visitors will have two opportunities a day to see specialised machinery in action – from the oldest active steam locomotives on the Russian railways to modern rolling stock – as well as take a ride on double-decker compartment cars using the latest technologies as part of the presentation.
As part of Youth Day, excursions will be held at the Salon for university students and schoolchildren on 13 September.
During Open Railways Days on 14 September, visitors to the exhibition will be able to enjoy the sounds of the music festival as well as the services of professional photographers, presenters, artists and animators. Inflatable play equipment, velomobiles, steam trains, professional caricaturists and outdoor sports activities will be provided for children.

EXPO 1520 is a specialist international Salon featuring the latest achievements in the field of equipment, technologies, infrastructure, services and logistics for the railway industry. It is the only international rail Salon in the “1520 area”.
