UralVagonZavod Corporation to present new model range of freight wagons at EXPO 1520
The IV International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520 will take place from 11 to 14 September 2013 at the Experimental Ring of the Russian Railway Research Institute (VNIIZhT) (Shcherbinka, Moscow).
The UralVagonZavod Corporation is once again acting as a partner of the exhibition, this time presenting its new model range of specialised multi-purpose freight wagons.
The new models to be presented include: the 12-196-01 model, an innovative open wagon with bottom hatches, designed for network-wide use on 1520 mm gauge railways for carrying bulk non-aggressive freight which does not require protection from wet weather; the model 15-588-01 tank wagon for transporting liquefied petroleum gas and the model 15-5157-04 tank wagon for transporting oil products; the model 19-597 hopper wagon for transporting cement or other non-cohesive bulk freight requiring protection from wet weather; the model 13-198-02 flat wagon for transporting timber and large-tonnage containers; the TMV-2 multi-purpose vehicle, a body-on-frame design with two driving axles, front and rear steering, and front and rear guide railway wheels; and a model range of hopper trucks for bulk transportation of non-hazardous mineral fertilisers and other non-hazardous bulk freight.
The presentation will take place daily from 14.00 on 11, 12 and 13 September in the UralVagonZavod pavilion on the OS40 outdoor site. The presentation will be run by commercial and technical specialists from the corporation, who will provide all visitors to the exhibition with as much detail as possible about the technical and operational advantages of the new wagons.
Applications for accreditation to the IV International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520 are now being accepted. The form and terms of accreditation are available at expo1520.ru, in the Accreditation section. Applications may be made until 6 September 2013.
