Exhibition audit of EXPO 1520

RussComm IT Systems is to carry out an exhibition audit of the

IV International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520

The IV International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520 will take place from 11 to 14 September 2013 at the VNIIZht Experimental Ring (Shcherbinka, Moscow). The official auditor carrying out the audit procedure in Russia – RusComm IT Systems – will be present at the event. It is a mandatory requirement for anyone wishing to acquire the badge of honour of the RUEF (Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs) or the UFI (Union of International Fairs), which guarantees the accuracy of their statistics – the number of participants and visitors at the exhibition – to undergo a statistical audit by independent auditing companies.

The results of the audit are published annually in the exhibition statistics handbook (the FKM Report), which is distributed in 19 countries in Europe and which is confirmation of the degree of quality with which the event was staged and recognition of its high status on the part of the international community.

The RUEF and UFI badges of honour
The Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) is an association of the leading Russian exhibition organisers, owners of exhibition complexes and companies supporting the exhibition business, and also of representatives of the exhibition business in Moldova and Ukraine. It was founded in 1991.
The RUEF badge confirms the high level at which the event has been run, the professionalism of the exhibition’s organiser and the best marketing opportunities, and is generally a testimony to the special significance of the exhibition event for the Russian economy, In 2013 the RUEF Badge was awarded to 120 Russian exhibitions.

The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) is a kind of “elite club” whose history goes back to 1925. The association now comprises 543 organisations from 206 major cities in 48 countries on 6 continents, which stage more than 4,500 exhibitions every year.
To be a UFI-Approved Event is a sign of the quality of an exhibition event, a certificate confirming that the exhibition meets international standards. This status is regarded as the most prestigious in the exhibition industry.
In order to be recognised in this way by the UFI, an exhibition must undergo an independent international audit twice in succession and then again not less than once every two years.

The schedule for the exhibition and the terms of participation are available on the event’s website at expo1520.ru
