The Fourth International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520 Awarded the UFI Certificate
The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) has confirmed an international level for the Fourth International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520.
The Fourth International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520 was held on September 11-14, 2013 in the Experimental Ring of VNIIZHT (Moscow, Scherbinka). The event was attended by the RussCom IT Systems Company – the official auditor conducting the audit process in Russia. As a result of a successful audit of statistical characteristics of the exhibition, the International Salon, organized and conducted by Business Dialogue OOO since 2007, was awarded the UFI certificate. The certificate confirms that the International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO 1520 has been recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and the event was arranged at the highest level.
The UFI plaque is considered one of the greatest achievements in the exhibition business – a kind of “mark of quality” of the exhibition, and also an official confirmation of the show's full compliance with international standards and its international level. The audit results are published annually in the reference book Fair and Exhibition Statistics (FKM), which is distributed in 19 European countries.
Plaques of RUEF and UFI
Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) is an association of leading Russian organizers of exhibitions, owners of exhibition centers, enterprises promoting the exhibition business, and representatives of the exhibition business in Moldova and Ukraine. It was established in 1991.
Plaque of RUEF confirms the high level of the event, professionalism of the exhibition organizer, the best marketing opportunities, and in general, it is evidence of a special significance of the exhibition for the Russian economy. In 2013, the plaque of RUEF was awarded to 120 Russian exhibitions.
Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) is some sort of “elite club”, tracing its history back to 1925. Now the association includes 543 organizations from 206 major cities in 84 countries on 6 continents that hold more than 4,500 exhibits annually.
UFI Approved Event is a mark of quality for any exhibition event, the certificate attesting to correspondence of a show with global standards. This status is considered the most prestigious in the exhibition industry.
