EXPO 1520 reaffirms its international status
The 4th International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies will be attended by representatives of 20 countries
The international status of the Salon, which is to be held on the grounds of the Experimental Ring of Russian Railway Research Institute (Shcherbinka, Moscow) from 11 to 14 September 2013, is confirmed by the exhibitors also include foreign companies. In addition to the countries that traditionally take part in the exhibition, newcomers at EXPO 1520 will include Denmark and Israel. The achievements of the railway sector’s top specialists will be on view in the pavilions of France, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.As part of the Salon programme, there will be a demonstrationof the latest rolling stock of the 1520 Space, including some pilot models.
In addition to the exposition, the crowded business programme of EXPO 1520 will, as usual, include the 6th International Conference Railway Engineering: Prospects, Technologies, Priorities devoted to current issues of railway engineering, renewal of rolling stock, innovative and investment activities, as well as a presentation of the latest railway technology achievements.
More than 14,000 participants and guests are expected to take part in EXPO 1520.

EXPO 1520 is a specialist international Salon featuring the latest achievements in the field of equipment, technologies, infrastructure, services and logistics for the railway industry. It is the only international rail Salon in the “1520 area”.
The purpose of the event is to present the latest railway equipment and technologies manufactured by Russian and foreign railway engineering companies. The key clients for these products are senior executives in the national railway administrations of the CIS states, Europe and Central Asia, operating and leasing companies, freight owners and transport operators.
